December 2005
In December I will be playing live shows with Nils Gessinger in Hamburg and Mousse T. in Munich.
And I will be recording and co-producing the first three songs for a CD with a very talented singer in Hamburg. We will probably record the other songs in January.
And I am planing to go to Hannover to record audio examples for a workshop series that I am currently working on.
....and I need to buy Christmas presents. This year I don't wanna do it the last day!!

November 2005
Just came in yesterday: I am playing a show with one of my favourite bands: SEEED.
I had a very good time doing sessions in Paris. And what was not scheduled but came up while I was there: I worked on Maxim Nucci's new CD in the beginning of November. We recorded three great songs. I really hope that the record company wastes no time and releases the CD early next year.
I am playing three live shows in Hamburg this month with very different bands: Mousse T., The Bluetones and Nils Gessinger. I hope to see you there :)

October 2005
Three years ago I have played a session in Paris for a very talented singer named Ginie Line. Well...it never came out until this month and it seems to be quite successful (Top 20). I haven't heard the CD yet and I can hardly remember the tunes, but I do remember that Manu Katché played on some of the other tunes. Things sometimes take very long in the record business...
Another song I just recently played on in Paris is in the french charts as well. It is Jenifer's new single "Serre moi".
Other than that I am doing my favourite mix of recording and playing live in october: I will be playing three shows with Mousse T. in Germany, which I enjoy doing very much and after that I'll go to Paris to record two CDs.

September 2005
Rehearsals in L.A. went great. We are now at the "El Rey" to shoot the DVD. It is a real pleasure for me to play with this band. You should hear these singers...wow!!

I am going to L.A. in september for rehearsals and two shows with Michael Sadler from SAGA. Michael has recorded a CD last year which is quite sucessful in the states at the moment. The shows we are going to play will be recorded on DVD.
Other than that I will be playing with Mousse T. in Hamburg. And a producer from Paris/France has asked me to play a few sessions for him in Paris at the end of september.

August 2005
The Media-Section is all new. You can find different videos from various gigs that I have played through the years. It starts with two drumsolos that have been recorded on a show with Matalex in 1997 and ends with two songs from Mousse T. that have been taped recently. One of them features Andrew Roachford, the other one James Kakande (both on vocals).
Plus I will be teaching at the "popkurs" in Hamburg.

July 2005
In July I will be recording with Robin Grubert for his upcoming CD.
Apart from that I am doing my first session with two drummers. It is me and Dirk Erchinger on drums and Hellmut Hattler on bass. I have never met Hellmut before but I heard so manny good things about him. We record a song for Maddi Tation's new CD. I am looking forward to doing that very much.
I am very excited about working with Eberhard Schoener on a gig in Munich: We will be playing a show with a symphony orchstra and a "real" band. Midge Ure (Ultravox) is the featured singer. One of my childhood heroes is playing percussion: Nippy Noya.

From now on I am writing workshops for the German drummer magazine "Drums & Percussion".

I have posted a new video in the Media-Section. In fact it is not really new: it's a drumsolo from a live TV-show with Matalex which has been recorded in 1997.
Apart from that I will be playing a few shows with Mousse T. and for the first time with Two Remarks who I have recorded with earlier this year.

May 2005
In May I will be spending most of my time in the studio and play some shows with Mousse T. and Nils Gessinger.
The first session takes place in Paris/France for the french singer Jenifer. Last year I have already played one tune on her latest CD. The other drummers on this CD were Abe Laboriel Jr. and Frank Tontoh. This time I am working on her upcoming single release.
Then I am going to Hannover/Germany to record a CD with a really cool and hard rockin' band called "Dacia". I must admit that I hardly ever play rock, but it was so much fun for me to do the preproduction in april. I had to wear gloves though....
In Hamburg/Germany I am working with Robin Grubert on his new CD.
At the end of may I am going to Paris again to play two showcases with Fred Vargas.
